My heart is breaking.
I just stepped on baby Sid’s foot and she let out this awful cry and was limping on her paw and I love that little beast and I’d never hurt her and she was just trying to help me in the refrigerator like she always does when I open the fridge or a cabinet and she sticks her little nose and paws in to help Mommy and she’s right under my feet and I didn’t mean to step on her and I don’t want her to be hurt…

oh my god, i know. my dog has actually been tortured to the point that he’s scared of the bathroom, gets out of the way of all opening doors, and even stands to the side downstairs at the front door. our front door is a big, heavy, wrought iron door. and his little paw has gotten caught underneath it before because of one completely idiotic puppymommie.
